We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, join our waitlist, publish content, or communicate with us. This includes your name, email address, profile information, and any content you upload (text, images, video, and audio). We also automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Platform, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and usage patterns.
2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Kindred uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage patterns, and measure the effectiveness of our platform. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features. We also use analytics services that may collect anonymized usage data to help us improve the Platform.
4. Information Sharing
We may share your information with: trusted service providers who assist us in operating the Platform (subject to confidentiality agreements); law enforcement or government agencies when required by law; other parties with your explicit consent. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their commercial purposes. In the event of a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Platform's services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Following account deletion, we may retain certain information for a limited period as required by law, for dispute resolution, or to enforce our agreements. Content you've published may be cached or stored by third-party services for a reasonable period after deletion.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your information; the right to data portability; the right to object to or restrict processing; and the right to withdraw consent. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. EU/EEA residents have rights under the GDPR. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@thekindred.love.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@thekindred.love.
